Our pasta sauce based on a version of the one by Art Ginsburg (R.I.P.). His simplistic recipes were an inspiration to millions for their simplicity.
Simple yet delish!
Ingredients
Directions
This is such a simple recipe using staples you should have in your home.

For this recipe you really don't have to prep anything in advance, but do make sure you have it in stock in your kitchen. Since you are slow cooking it you can add ingredients as you get them chopped.

Add crushed tomatoes to large pot and heat on low. Keep your eye on this as when the tomatoes heat up they will expand and pop creating quite a mess on your stove.

Add dried and fresh spices to taste and let simmer.

After about 5 minutes add beef stock (or bouillon if that is all you have). Let simmer so flavors blend.
Add in your garlic. I recommend fresh garlic either finely chopped or minced. Let this simmer for another 10 minutes.
Stir and let simmer another 15 minutes to allow flavors to release and blend then enjoy.
